Hello folks and welcome to another funfilled year of RockSoc antics!
This thread is for us to put the faces to the names and to learn a little bit about each other in the process, so put up a photo if you can and as
much information about yourself as you like!
For clarity's sake can we please keep this thread just to intro posts please. Any waffle will be deleted.

Committee position: Avoiding it after being on committee for 3 years.
My course: Zoology MSci, 4th year
Hobbies: Going to gigs, reading, rugby, Magic: the gathering, running off to distant parts of the world to do research and get myself injured.
Musical Taste: Primarily 'bleepy shit'- ebm, synthpop, darkwave, industrial etc. Especially in terms of going out to a club or something. However,
also happy with metal (particularly of the power kind), a fair amount of rock-type-stuff and even stretch to ska on occasion.

1. I had no voice for my first alt fresher's week, was limping heavily for my second and was on crutches/ in a wheelchair for my third. This
escalation worries me about what will happen this year.

My course: PGCE Secondary (Mathematics)- Nottingham Trent. Already finished BSc Maths from Notts.
Hobbies: Computer gaming both online, offline, PC and 360. (Gamertag: erathirea, feel free to add). Snooker, golf, tennis, football (but do not assume

1. I won tickets to Hammerfest In Prestatyn and ended up walking out with the battered remains of the Defiled's keyboard,
which leads me nicely onto point 2 which is that when I do rarely have money, I collect keyboards
3. I've been in about 8 or 9 different bands during my time on this earth!
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone, I've not made that many friends around the place....
I've spoken to Mike and Frankie at the Fresher's fair and they seemed lovely (for there interest, I was the guy in the Metallica Hoodie!)

Three things:
1. I'm pretty quiet and shy. If I have beer I morph into something totally different.
2. I'm a bit of an adrenaline junky, I love things that go fast. I've just signed up for sky diving.
3. I get people hilariously lost when they ask me to lead the way
